Jan. 22

2:41 a.m., DUI/DWI arrest. 100 block of Ridge Road. Marcus James Brooks, 23, of the 9 block of Research Road, was arrested and released for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while intoxicated by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trials.

11:28 p.m., Vandalism. 7800 block of Lakecrest Drive. A glass patio door was broken.

12:34 p.m., Burglary. 100 block of Westway. A TV, camera and two laptop computers were taken.

3:49 p.m., Trespass arrest. 8900 block of Edmonston Road. A non-resident juvenile was petitioned for trespassing on school grounds. The suspect was released to a parent pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

10:13 a.m., Vandalism. 6100 block of Springhill Terrace. Graffiti was found in the laundry room of the building.

1:05 a.m., Vandalism. 9100 block of Edmonston Court. Windows in a vacant unit were broken.

8:27 p.m., Vandalism. 9100 block of Springhill Lane. Graffiti was found in the laundry room of the building.

Drug violations/arrests

Jan. 23

1:55 p.m., Drug Arrest. 5900 block of Cherrywood Lane. Andre Dirk Brown, 21, of the 6100 block of Breezewood Drive and Allen Fred Blalock, Jr., 22, of the 600 block of 42nd Street in Washington, D.C., were both arrested and charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop. Both suspects were released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

2:33 p.m., Drug arrest. 6100 block of Greenbelt Road. A resident juvenile was petitioned for possession of marijuana. The suspect was released to a parent pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

10:32 a.m., Attempt Burglary. 9100 block of Springhill Court.

Robberies

Jan. 28

9:05 p.m., Robbery. 6100 block of Greenbelt Road. The victim was approached by the suspect, who produced a handgun and demanded money. The suspect is described as a black male, 22-23 years old, 5'11"-6'1", 210-230 pounds, black hair, wearing a gray jacket, dark pants, and a black ski mask.

Jan. 29

12:23 a.m., DUI/DWI Arrest. 7500 block of Greenbelt Road. Kevin Kaveh Mazhari, 34, of the 1000 block of Rockville Pike in Rockville, was arrested and released for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while intoxicated by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trials.

8:19 p.m., Drug arrest. 7500 block of Greenbelt Road. Ugur Halim Tanriover, 24, of the 16 block of Crescent Road, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was released on a citation pending trial.

10:20 p.m., Burglary. 7300 block of Morrison Drive. Nothing was taken.

Theft from auto. 6100 block of Springhill Terrace. An MP3 player and CDs were among the items taken.

Recovered stolen vehicle. 6000 block of Cherrywood Court. A green 1997 Honda Accord with Maryland tags, reported stolen through Prince George's County Police Department, was recovered. No arrests were made.

Stolen vehicle. 6000 block of Cherrywood Court. A white 1996 Honda Accord with Maryland tags was taken.

Stolen vehicle. 5800 block of Cherrywood Terrace. A green 1996 Jeep Cherokee with Maryland tags was taken.

Theft from auto. 7800 block of Lakecrest Drive. Loose change was taken.

Theft from auto. 6900 block of Lady Anne Court. Loose change was taken.

Theft from auto. 7900 block of Vanity Fair Drive. An iPod, GPS, cell phone and loose change were taken.

Theft from auto. 6900 block of Lady Anne Court. A cell phone and CD's were taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Stolen vehicle. 6100 block of Breezewood Drive. A red 1996 Dodge Caravan with Maryland tags was taken.

Theft from auto. 7800 block of Lakecrest Drive. Three vehicles were broken into by unknown means, and loose change was taken.

Stolen vehicle. 6100 block of Breezewood Court. A green 1995 Honda Accord with Maryland tags was taken.

Theft from auto. 500 block of Crescent Road. A set of Maryland tags was taken.

Stolen vehicle. 5800 block of Cherrywood Lane. A gray 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager Van with Maryland tags was taken.

Recovered stolen vehicle. 5800 block of Cherrywood Lane. A gray 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager with Maryland tags was recovered by the Bladensburg Police Department. No arrests were made.

Recovered stolen vehicle. 7900 block of Mandan Road. A white 1998 Honda Civic with Maryland tags, reported stolen from the same area, was recovered. No arrests were made.
