Movies: New on DVD
Here are some of the DVDs scheduled to be released Tuesday:
Couples Retreat: A couple decides to sign up for therapy on a tropical resort island in order to save their marriage. But in order to afford the trip, they cajole three other couples to join them, promising that they can skip the therapy and just enjoy the resort. But the therapy turns out to be mandatory and the other three relationships all end up needing work as well. Vince Vaughn and Jason Bateman star in this ensemble comedy.

The Time Traveler's Wife: Eric Bana plays a man who has a genetic disorder that causes him to randomly travel through time. He falls in love with Clare (Rachel McAdams) and the two try to make the relationship work even though he can disappear at any moment. The film was adapted from Audrey Niffenegger's 2003 best-selling novel of the same name.

The Stepfather: Michael (Penn Badgley) returns home from military school and meets his mother's new beau, learning that they plan to marry. While everyone else in his life finds David (Dylan Walsh) charming, Michael has his doubts. As he tries to piece together clues, people with information against his stepfather-to-be start dying mysteriously. Michael must expose David and save his family, or become David's latest victim. This is a remake of a 1987 film.

A Serious Man: The Coen brothers feature a Jewish college professor whose world is coming down around him. His son smokes too much marijuana, his wife wants to leave him, his daughter is stealing from him, his brother has been sleeping on his couch for months and he may not get tenure at the university where he teaches.
R; 105 minutes; Directed by Joel Coen and Ethan Coen
My One and Only: This film is loosely based on actor George Hamilton's early life on the road with his mother and brother. The actor told some of the stories of that time to producer Merv Griffin, and it was Griffin who pitched the idea for a script. Renee Zellweger plays Hamilton's mother. After leaving her previous husband because she found him cheating on her, she sets out on a cross-country road trip to find a new husband to take care of her and her two sons.
