Burns, Funkhouser
Dr. John and Anne Burns of Princeton, N.J., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Graham, to Timothy Andrew Funkhouser, son of Claire and Gary Funkhouser of Rockville.
The bride-to-be teaches first grade at West Briar Elementary School in Vienna, Va. She holds a bachelor's degree from Dickenson College and a master of education from George Mason University.
The prospective groom earned a degree from John Carroll University. He is an assistant vice president for Branch Banking & Trust in Arlington, Va.
The couple met while playing in the World Adult Kickball Association league in Washington, D.C.
A July wedding is planned.
