Social & Scientific announces promotion

Social & Scientific Systems Inc. of Silver Spring promoted June Mickens to chief administrative officer, succeeding Mary Tondreau, who is retiring. Mickens, who joined the company in 2005 as director of organizational communication, previously was deputy director of the Washington, D.C., Child Support Services program and deputy executive director of the National Association of Black Accountants. She has been a lecturer in family law at the Howard University School of Social Work.
