Sharon Renee' Harris
She graduated from Eastern Senior High and attended Chamberlain Vocational School, where she received her cosmetology license and worked as a cosmetologist at Magic Fingers. She was also a word processor for Fidley Marcus and Troutman and Sanders law firms.
She attended Young's Memorial Church of Christ in Southeast Washington, D.C., and was devoted in her relationship with the Lord. Growing up, she participated in the young adult choir, Sunday school choir, Choir 2, gospel melodies choir and the usher board.
On August 10, 1991, she was united in marriage to George W. Harris III, and from that union they had three children, Shamone A. Harris, Taylor A. Harris and Cedric G. Harris.
Ms. Harris is survived by her husband and loving daughters and son; devoted parents Lemuel and Georgia Thomas; sisters Tina Hairston and husband Darryl, Linnette Scott and husband Reginald, and Evangeline Thomas; brothers Lemuel and Randy Thomas and wife Gail; mother-in-law Eugertha Holmes; brother-in-law Malcom Harris; sisters-in-laws Rosita Harris and Trista Short; nine nieces and nine nephews; two nephew-in-laws; two great-nephews and two great-nieces; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; dedicated and devoted best friend Laverne Davis-Flowers; seven special friends, Tracey, Lavonda, Betty, Deena, Sharon, Shirley and Sherri; and other relatives and friends.
Her viewing and services were held Saturday at Young's Memorial Church of Christ, with interment at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Suitland. Arrangements are entrusted to Thornton Funeral Home, P.A., Indian Head.
