Williams, Tackett
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Williams of Mount Airy announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Marie Williams, to John David Tackett, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Tackett of Thurmont and Mr. and Mrs. George Vassek of Craig, Colo.
Miss Williams is a 1996 graduate of Delaware Technical Community College where she earned an associate degree in early childhood education. She works in project administration for Bechtel Power Corporation.
Mr. Tackett is a 2000 graduate of the Tampa Technical Institute where he earned an associate degree in electronics engineering and computer science. He works as a mechanical drafter at Bechtel Power Corporation.
A May 8, 2010 wedding in Ijamsville is planned.
