Man shot and killed Tuesday morning in College Park
Homicide is Prince George's 11th this year in as many days
A man was shot and killed Tuesday morning in College Park, in Prince George's County's 11th reported homicide this year, county police said.
The victim, whose name police declined to release, was shot in the 8800 block of 38th Ave., said police spokesman Cpl. Larry Johnson. Police responded at about 11:27 a.m. to a call reporting the shooting and found the victim at the scene. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Johnson said police have not located a suspect and are still investigating the shooting.
