Frederick Striders to hold registration
Registrations
The Frederick Striders Track Club will hold registration at Roy Rogers Restaurant on Ballenger Creek Pike on Saturday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 30 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Registration is open to boys and girls ages 7-18. The $130 fee includes a team uniform, warm-up suit and athletic bag. For more information, please log onto www.frederickstriders.com.
The Maryland Stars Girls Fast-pitch Softball Program has a few roster openings on its 12-, 14, 16, and 18-and-Under teams for the 2010 season.
The Stars are a select program that plays a tournament-only schedule during the spring and summer. Teams will play at least 10 events during this time.

The Thunder Soccer Club Girls U-13 Extreme Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS) is looking to add a player to its roster.

The South Mountain Magic Girls 14U AAU basketball team is forming its team for the Spring 2010 season.

The Basketball Coaches Without Boundaries League (BCWB) will offer registration for its various 2010 spring and summer leagues for males and females.
Deposits of $10 for any league before Jan. 31, 2010 will ensure discount rates until balance of the respective fees are due.
The Youth Summer Basketball League, Women's Spring League's and Youth Instructional Camps will hold registrations on Mondays at the Whittier Community Center and Thursdays at the Thomas Johnson Community Center from April 13 through June 3.

The Western Maryland Youth Lacrosse Conference new player lacrosse clinic will take place on Saturday, Jan. 23 at the All-Star Events Complex in Gettysburg, Pa.
The clinic is for new players interested in participating in youth lacrosse, and open to all boys and girls in grades K - 8. Registration is encouraged by signing up at www.WMYLC.org but also available at the clinic. A $10 (cash or check only) participant fee will be collected at the clinic. Bellefonte Baseball of Central Pennsylvania will host four wood bat youth summer baseball tournaments in 2010.
Three of the tournaments will be held in Central Pennsylvania, with the fourth to be hosted at the University of Maryland-College Park.
