Francesca B. Johnson
Francesca Borrelli Johnson, 35, of Cockeysville, formerly of Westminster, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, at the University Hospital Shock Trauma Unit, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Born Aug. 8, 1969, in Towson, she was the daughter of Dr. Niel J. and JoAnne Kissinger Borrelli of Westminster. She was the wife of Robert Johnson, whom she married on Nov. 18, 1998.
She was a 1987 graduate of Westminster High School and received a bachelor of science degree from Towson University in geology. She was in the master's program in environmental sciences at Towson University.
She was employed as an environmental scientist at EBI Consulting in York, Pa. She was certified in multiple areas of inspection. She was an active member of the Geological Society of America. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking, kayaking and skiing. She had a keen interest in a clean environment, with a special interest in the Chesapeake Bay.
Surviving, in addition to her parents and husband, are sister and brother-in-law Nicole D. and Loren Estes of Eldersburg; aunts and uncles Frank and Jean Borrelli of Belmont, Vt., and Sandra and Dr. Renzo Ricci of Finksburg; cousins Heather, Barbara, Allison, Daniela, Frank, Matteo and Susanne; father-in-law Robert Johnson; grandmother-in-law Helen Phillips; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Steve, Gail, Eric and David Johnson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, with Monsignor Arthur F. Valenzanno as the celebrant. Interment will be in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
The family received friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Inc., 6 Herndon Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403.
Callie M. Conaway Woodson, 74, of Keymar, died Saturday, December 25, 2004, at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster.
She was born May 13, 1930, in Carroll County, Maryland, the daughter of the late Theodore Charles Conaway and late Callie Morris Conaway.
She was a member of Middleburg United Methodist Church.
She was the wife of the late Andy Allen Woodson, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Judy Lee Hoffman of Union Bridge, Patsy A. Staley of Taneytown, and Andrea L. Hajzer of Keymar and Andy A. Woodson, Jr. of Middleburg; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The funeral and interment will be private.
